Jump onboard a famous soviet âBukhankaâ (loaf of bread in Russian) van to travel around Moscow and discover its landmarks. You will move from one must-see spot to another and learn more about Russiaâs past. In the second part of this tour, you will descend dozens of meters below ground and explore some of the oldest and most beautiful metro stations. To satisfy your hunger, we will stop at a cozy cafĂ© and delight in tasty traditional Russian pies.

Discover Moscow from an unusual angle traveling in a famous soviet âBukhankaâ van. You will stop near the cityâs main landmarks before diving below-ground to admire the architecture of the Moscow Metro. End up in a cafĂ© tasting delicious Russian pies and sharing a friendly moment with your guide and fellow travelers.
Your fascinating trip will start in front of St. Basilâs Cathedral on Red Square where you will meet your guide. After taking a picture in front of this colorful church, take a walk through the modern Zaryadye Park situated right beside it. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Kremlin from Zaradyeâs boomerang-bridge, a new landmark of the city.
From there, it is time to board a famous soviet âBukhankaâ van provided by our partners, Put-in Tours! Your first destination is the Russian Academy of Science, also known as the âGolden Brainâ. You will have a chance to overlook the city from the observation platform in front of the building.
From there, you will go to another must-see spot – Moscow State Universityâs main building, one of the famous âSeven Sistersâ. During the van-ride, we will offer you snacks and drinks âĂ la russeâ.
After a short stop in front of the imposing university tower, we will head to the New Maiden Convent. The ancient walls of this monastery still keep the secrets of the Russian royals.
To show you that Moscow is not only the historical but also the business center of Russia, we will bring you to the observation platform located in front of the Moscow City Business District. And finally, you will go to the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour which you will be able to admire from the outside. While there, you will also discover what was in its place during the Soviet period.
After this 3-hour ride, you will return to Red Square to meet your Urban Adventures local guide. Next, you will start exploring the hidden part of the city â the Moscow Metro, which seems more like a museum rather than a simple means of transport.
The first station that you will see is Revolution Square (Ploshad Revolutsii), famous for its huge statues of soviet people (an armed soldier, a farmer with a rooster, a warrior, and more).
You will then move on to some of the most significant stations that reveal a big part of Russiaâs Soviet past. From time to time, you will go back to the street level to discover some of the âSeven Sistersâ. The cherry on top of this tour is sampling some traditional Russian pies (pirogi) and tea-tasting.
