  • Ready for the cool Moscow bar tour? You’ll feel that what people say about our capital is true — Moscow never sleeps. Myasnitskaya Street is a good example to prove this statement. Cosy historical district full of bars and cafes fitting every taste. What are you waiting for?

We’re really proud to show you a bar with a wide range of craft beers. You can try some exotic flavours such as local berries, coffee and fruits. Being creative these guys named each type of beer differently. Can you imagine that one of them carries the name of a well-known Russian Prime Minister!

While moving to the second spot you’ll see Chinese footprint and try to guess why this building could fit into such bohemian area. Your guide will also tell you about Russian tea-drinking culture and traditions connected to it.

After that we’ll go to Odessa, a restaurant with cosy atmosphere and nice interiors. Here your expert guide will let you into vodka etiquette before pairing a few shots with the food. You’ll try very typical zakuska (appetisers), which pair well with the vodka: pickles (tomatoes, cucumbers, garlic, cabbage) and smoked lard. Believe us, it’s super delicious!

Then we transfer to our final destination. On our way we’ll walk through Lubyanka Square and see ex-KGB headquarters. This place generated many myths, legends and cold war anecdotes.

Finally you can feel yourself in the role of a spy by visiting a secret service themed bar. Here we’ll try another traditional Russian drink, nastoika, which is a berry/veggie infused alcoholic beverage. It goes well with fried suluguni, typical Georgian cheese and the appetizer beloved by Russians.

Now you know how to party like a Russian! Before you go, ask your guide for some lifehacks what else to see, drink and eat during your stay in Moscow.

The tour was great. A nice mix of participants, good pace and the guide spoke excellent English. The places visited were well chosen with enough walking time between them and Nickolai was happy to spend extra time at the last stop when some of the participants wanted to stay on.

We loved Ana! The one-on-one interaction allowed us to connect with her while she shared Russian culture with us. We would absolutely recommend this tour!
